Petition delivery to the British Commission lead by NCONGO

Today NCONGO led Community Trusts into a walk to deliver a petition against the proposal made by the Former President of Botswana to lobby for the return of the hunting trophies (Import Prohibition) Bill.
The communities living along side wildlife stood together to show with deep concern regarding the proposed bill by writing to the British High Commission Embassy in Gaborone to implore the British government to carefully consider the implications of enacting the HUNTING TROPHIES (IMPORT PROHIBITION) BILL, as such decision could have far- reaching consequences on wildlife populations, exacerbate human- wildlife conflict, undermine conservation efforts and impact the livelihood and well-being of communities living along side wildlife.
