This sector exists to build a Ngamiland society that is eco-sensitive, guarantees equitable access to wealth creation opportunities, develop a culture that places premium on the protection of the environment and indigenous knowledge as well as focusing attention of both public and private sector on issues that promotes sustainable use of natural resources in the development process.
Its general purpose is to advise and assist the NCONGO Board in ensuring that NCONGO is aware of, and it is appropriately responding to systematic institutional and societal trends and their impact on the environment.
The role of Conservation and Livelihoods sector is:

This sector brings together an array of CSOs that are either direct health service providers or form a support system for the services provided. It enhances the national efforts and interventions on combating HIV/AIDS and other health issues. The sector has also been recently been introduced to Covid-19 and organizations across the health sectors have incorporated on to their daily operations.
The purpose of the HIV/AIDS & Covid-19 sector is to bring together and
coordinate efforts of the health and HIV/AIDS service providers as well as to
come up with innovative partnerships between CSOs and strategic partners that will work to improve the health delivery services in the district.

The NCONGO OVC Sector is charged with the responsibility of handling CSO response to all matters relating to the total wellbeing and development of children of Ngamiland. It is also charged with giving advice
to formulating policies, carrying out programs and projects towards the realization of the rights of children to survival, proper development, protection and participation.
An orphan in this context refers to a child below 18 years who has lost one (single parent) or (married couple) biological/adoptive parents.
A vulnerable child is a person below 18 years who is in any situation or
circumstance which is or likely to adversely affect his/her physical,
emotional, psychological or general well being which prevents the enjoyment of his or her rights and who is in need of protection.
Purpose:
To serve as the district vehicle to build an Ngamiland Society devoid of discrimination, that guarantees equal access to opportunities, develop a culture that places premium on the protection of the OVC, and focuses attention of both public and private sector on issues that promote full participation of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), gender & disability in the national developments.

To build a Ngamiland society devoid of gender based or disability based discrimination, that guarantees equal access to wealth creation opportunities, develop a culture that places premium on the protection of the all members of the community, and focuses attention of both public and private sector on issues that promote full participation of men and women regardless of their disabilities in the national development process. And also to serve as the district vehicle to bring about speedy and healthy development of the Ngamiland men and women and people with main stream of the district and national development process.
The Role of the Gender and Disability Sector

This sector will form part of a broader youth participation strategy in which a range of various mechanisms will be established to facilitate greater input and involvement by young people in the area. The participation mechanisms that will compliment this sector may include local neighborhood youth forums and committees.
The youth sector aims to provide a platform for youth oriented organizations to advocate to a diverse range of young people who are reflective of the community they represent.
